National Nutrition week

National Nutrition week.

Working on looks is the favorite area of today’s generation. Eating healthy to go to the gyms, to be a part of health zone, to look smart and attractive, fashionable and dresssup to saloon visit,  every one is running to be the best in society and more on online platforms/ social networks.

It’s good that any profession  or any socio-economic area is now competing on looks which become the most important society symbol also. Everyone is becoming curious for right eating to right living but still at the back there is lot to work in many areas. Lack of knowledge,  lack of resources or tempting fast food to junk food from preservatives to canned and stored foods which are causing the rise in diseases.

Nutrition  and life

What is Nutrition and how our whole life revolves around the Nutrition. Have you ever thought?

Most of us know about the Nutrition but what is the right amount , what proportion,  what is healthy or unhealthy- at what age ?

Most of the physical disturbances are due the deficiency of Nutrition or imbalance of nutrition.

How much a woman body needs?

How much a lactating mother need ?

how much a child need ?

How much an adolescent need ? How much a man need ?

How much geriatric need? How much a patient  need ? How much sportsman/player need ? What amount and what proportion we are taking….  Everyone knows the importance of Nutrition but if look into the platter or meals in a day. Still to work with nutrition and healthy lifestyle.

Working professional,  students and old age are prone to diseases because of unhealthy lifestyle which is again causing mental illness like stress, anxiety, frustration, irritation, agitation , conduct or behavioural problems, anger….

Each meal decide our health. Health in the means of physical as well as the main important brain health/ mental-health.

Eating more or less leads to Disorders and that are

 undernutrition,

 overnutrition or

 an incorrect balance of nutrients.

(Iron deficiency is the single most common nutritional disorder world-wide and the main cause of anaemia in infancy, childhood and pregnancy) deficient in many nutrients, especially essential vitamins, minerals, and omega-3 fatty acid can lead to mental disorders.

A healthy, well-balanced diet can help us think clearly and feel more alert. It can also improve concentration and attention span, an inadequate diet can lead to fatigue, impaired decision-making, and can slow down reaction time.

Scientists have found links between low levels of certain nutrients — such as folate, magnesium, iron, zinc, and vitamins B6, B12, and D — worsening mood, feelings of anxiety, and risk of depression.

What are the common diseases that we face ?

obesity(body shaming)

Weaknesses ,

fatigue,

Height,

eating disorders,

chronic diseases such as protein-energy malnutrition (Kwashiorkor and marasmus),

cardiovascular disease,

atherosclerosis,

Osteoporosis

hypertension,

cancer (colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, breast cancer),

diabetes mellitus,

dental caries….

Have ever thought in running life where we are ? For whom we are ? For what we are ? Why we are ?

Ever thought…

When alone what ? Are you happy with your own self ?

When in society? What is in your mind?

When in family ? How you behaving?

Are you spend quality time? Happy on social media but alone in the world ?

Nutrition and lifestyle is the  main reason.  So it’s better to monitor and have routine checkup as well as consult doctor on regular basis.
